Carbon Trust supports Whitefox - 7 Dec 2011
LONDON, 7 DECEMBER 2011:
The Carbon Trust has selected Whitefox Technologies Limited (Whitefox) to participate in the Entrepreneurs Fast Track.
The Carbon Trust launched the Entrepreneurs Fast Track in July 2010 to ‘turbo charge’ and stimulate investment in clean tech companies. The principal aim of Carbon Trust is to accelerate the commercialisation of Britain’s best clean tech companies. The commercialisation of companies in the low carbon sector is seen as central to the creation of new jobs across the UK, boosting export revenues and helping the UK move to and prosper in the low-carbon economy.
Less than 10% of the companies that apply to the Entrepreneurs Fast Track are accepted so this achievement places Whitefox in the top tier of low carbon entrepreneurs in the UK. Whitefox’s Gillian Harrison says: “as a UK company we are very pleased to be supported by the Carbon Trust. We are excited to be working together with them to ensure the long term success and participation of Whitefox in bringing significant value to the UK and to the reduction in emissions. This is important recognition of Whitefox and its technology.”
