Whitefox to attend Fenasucro in Brazil 30 Aug-2 Sep 2011
SAO PAULO, 28 AUGUST 2011:
Whitefox Technologies Limited (Whitefox) attended Fenasucro & Agrocana, the world’s largest gathering of members of the sugarcane industry, in Sertãozinho, Brazil 30 August - 2 September 2011.
Whitefox views the event as an important arena for the ethanol industry, where technology providers, equipment manufacturers and producers meet to discuss industry trends, new developments and technology solutions that make ethanol production and co-generation more efficient.
Gillian Harrison who attended the Fenasucro together with Monica Panik and Whitefox engineers says: “Whitefox’s membrane based ethanol dehydration technology will help to make Brazilian ethanol even more sustainable. Due to the energy savings that our membrane technology brings to ethanol production it enables more of the waste biomass, known as bagasse, to be converted to green electricity and sold to the grid - increasing the green component of Brazil's energy matrix and delivering significant added revenues to ethanol producers. Whitefox spent time with its Brazilian engineering partners at the Fenasucro, not only discussing new projects for 2012, but also discussing the membrane unit that is currently being designed for installation in 2012."
